Greece is known for its wholesome and healthy food, which helps the Greeks to live an exceptionally long life. The food is prepared with olive oil and herbs such as thyme, marjoram and basil. Besides fish also poultry is often used. Typical Greek classics are the Greek salad, moussaka, souvlaki, tzatziki or gyro. Of course this would not be complete without one or two glasses of red wine.
