The Indish cuisine is dominated by many vegetarian dishes, which can be explained with the different religions of the country like the Hinduism. Indish people do not eat beef because the cow is a holy animal in the hinduistic belief. Therefore mostly chicken (murg) is used in the food. The Indian dishes are influenced significantly by the used spices such as turmeric, black mustard, cardamom or cinnamon. Also legumes like lentils and chickpeas are used very often. Besides the often very spicy curries also tandoori chicken and chicken tikka are well known in our country. Indish people prefer to drink a glass of chai tea (with or without milk) or even a refreshing lassi with their meal.
